Where the name comes from

In 1861, Isabella Beeton published the Book of Household Management, the book that taught a generation how to run a home: accounts, provisions, staff, all in one volume. Her name became shorthand in English for someone who manages a household with method.

Beeton borrows that idea and brings it into a shared app: one place for the money, the pantry, the chores, and everything else that keeps a home running, built for the people who actually do it every day.
